Licensed Practical Nurse - Skilled Nursing New

This full-time evening shift position will be scheduled from 2P-10:30P with every other weekend. Evening and night shifts are eligible for an additional. $1.60 per hour.

Eligible candidates are eligible for up-to a $7,500 sign on bonus and a relocation assistance package.

Job Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse shall be accountable and responsible for performing tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, provision of supportive and restorative care, administering medication(s), and provide nursing treatment under the direction of a registered nurse, licensed physician or other health care provider. The Licensed Practical Nurse shall be responsible for: Monitoring that Plan of Care is being followed by clinical staff under their supervision; Supervise certified nurse aides or unlicensed assistive personnel Provide supervision, coordination, and evaluation of assigned unit health care team and services.

Department: Skilled Nursing Facility

Education: Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in New York State.

Experience: 1 year experience required. Computer skills required. Practices within the guidelines of the New York State Practice Act.
