Registered Nurse

A specialty healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a nurse to join their growing team in Queens. In this role, the Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing full time nursing support services to the Allergy Physician.

Responsibilities:

The Staff Nurse will:

• Performing allergy testing
• Pulmonary function testing
• Administering allergy injections
• Monitoring for anaphylaxis
• Patient education
• Documenting care in our EMR system
• Obtaining authorizations
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS License
• Comfortable working with all ages from infant to geriatric
• Computer savvy
• Patient oriented
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
