Position Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg

Location: East Elmhurst, NY

Job Overview:

We are hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) with strong Medical/Surgical experience to join our team. You’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced Med/Surg unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical setting

Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation

Monitor patient status and document care accurately

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

Ensure patient safety and uphold professional nursing standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
  • Proficient in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation
  • Active New York State RN license (Primary Source Verified)
  • Current AHA BLS certification
  • AHA ACLS certification (required for Queens location only)
