Position Description
Job Title: RN - Med/Surg - Correctional Health
Location: East Elmhurst, NY
Shift: 8am-8:30pm 3x12 every other weekend required
Start Date: 06/16/2025
Duration: 13 Weeks
Weekly Pay: $2,412
Requirements:
- Two years of Medical/Surgical experience IV Insertion and phlebotomy conscious sedation.
- New York State RN License.
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS
Job Duties:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor for changes in condition.
- Administer medications (oral, IV, IM) and monitor for effects and side effects.
- Provide wound care and manage post-operative recovery.
- Assist with chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma).
- Triage patients and respond to medical emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations.
