Position Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: Auburn, NY

Start Date: ASAP

Shift: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM

Duration: 13 Weeks

Contract Type: Travel Nursing

Hours: 36 or 48 Hours/Week (48-Hour Contracts Available)

Overtime: Billed only after 48 hours for 48-hour contracts

Position Summary:

Seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) for a 13-week travel contract. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, reliable, and capable of floating to Med Surg units as needed.

Requirements:

Licensure: Active RN License (NY State preferred or compact)

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
AHA NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
6 CEUs in a stroke-related topic (to be completed prior to start)

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience
Prior travel nursing experience required
Charge nurse experience preferred
Must be willing to float to Medical-Surgical units when needed
