Licensed Practical Nurse New

Pride Health is seeking LPN for a 13-week contract in East Elmhurst, NY 11370. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital setting while delivering high-quality patient care.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Location: East Elmhurst, NY 11370
• Start Date: 04/21/2025
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days (8AM - 4PM) | 5x8s
• Pay: $42 - $44/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate utilization reviews of managed care contracts using established guidelines and processes.
• Ensure all clinical operations comply with Medicare, Medicaid, and other managed care policies.
• Communicate with physicians, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals to process referrals and service authorizations.
• Capture and maintain data related to utilization and managed care contracts.
• Maintain managed care contracts and update information databases.
• Prepare reports on utilization review findings.

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)

Experience:

• 5 years of experience as LPN

Certifications & Licenses:

• LPN license for the state of NY
• BLS (AHA)

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
